Come and enjoy a break at our static caravans at Blue Anchor, Nr Minehead, Somerset. They are situated on the Hoburne Holiday Park directly on the sea front with wonderful views across to Wales, Minehead and Hinkley Point.
There is a wide range of activities available - you can even fish directly from the beach in front of the caravan.
The caravans are open from February to the end of October and have heating for cooler times.
Caravan Facilities:
They have 2 bedrooms
each, with additional beds in the lounge, each sleeping 6. Duvets, pillows, are provided. Guests need to take their own sheets, pillow
cases, duvet covers, bath towels and tea towels. Cots and high chairs can be hired from the Reception at Hoburne Holiday Park. No pets allowed other than the owners. No single sex parties or smoking allowed in the caravans. This is a very quiet, peaceful site.
The kitchen is very well equipped with an oven, microwave, cutlery, & crockery etc. Also there is a TV and video. Bathroom, has handbasin, loo, shower. There is also a handbasin in one of the bedrooms.
There is a barbeque for your use together with chairs and table.
Why not sit and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the balcony of the caravans, or watch the tides come in.

Local Area:
Hoburne Holiday Park Reception are extremely helpful and friendly. There is an indoor swimming pool,
well stocked grocery/newsagent shop on site, open 7 days a week. Crazy Golf Course, Adventure Playground for children to play and a laundrette also
on site (there is a small charge for some of these). Fishing is extremely popular along the sea front.
There are 2 Restaurants/pubs within 5 minutes walk should you wish not to cater. Also many other eating houses within a short drive. Taxis, bus service, West Somerset Steam Railway are all within the vicinity.
The Steam Railway runs from Bishops Lydeard, Nr Taunton (with bus connections from Taunton and travels 20 miles through wonderful Somerset countryside.
From Bishops Lydeard it stops at Crowcombe, Stogumber, Williton, Doniford Halt, Watchet, BLUE ANCHOR, Dunster and finishes at Minehead.
Watchet has a very interesting Marina and harbour to explore and many varied eating houses to enjoy.The Quantocks is wonderful walking country with far reaching views.
Medieval Dunster is close by with the famous Castle to visit and excellent restaurants to sample. The main town is Minehead with plenty to see and do.Should you wish to visit Butlins, you are able to obtain a day pass.
Nearby, there are many race-courses all within easy reach.
In Minehead:
There have recently been major improvements done to the seafront in Minehead including a new sea wall and large quantities of sand bought in. Further on is the famous weir at Porlock with the notorious hill out of Porlock going on towards the heatherered moor with an abundnance of wild life, including Exmoor ponies and the Red Deer. This is a beautiful area to drive to and park your car and go for a
stroll to appreciate the breath-taking views over the wonderful countryside.
There is a telephone kiosk on the Hoburne Site, Blue Anchor, but Vodafone and Orange network work very well. Check in times between 3-6pm. Departure by 10.00a.m. Keys to be handed back into the Reception Desk of Hoburne.
Guests are asked to please leave the Caravans clean and tidy. Should your holiday be cut short for any reason whatsoever, there is no refund. I am sure you will realise I would be unable to re-let at such short notice. Therefore it is in your interest to take out holiday insurance.
Prices are as stated below. In the height of the season and bank holidays only week bookings taken.
On booking a £50.00 non-refundable deposit is required and the balance to be paid in full, one month before your holiday. Keys are obtainable to the caravans
at the Hoburne Reception.

Directions:
Either leave M5 Junction 24 Bridwater or M5 Junction 25 Taunton and follows signs to
Minehead. Approximately 3 miles before Minehead, you see a right hand sign to Blue Anchor. Follow this road and you come to a Railway Crossing and
drive along the sea front and turn right into the Hoburne Holiday Park.

Prices are as stated left. Lets are for 3 days and can only be booked 2 weeks before. In the height of the season and bank holidays only week bookings taken. £50 non-refundable deposit is required on booking, balance is due 1 month before holiday starts.
The keys are obtained from the Reception at Hoburne Holiday Park, Blue Anchor.
Note: The owners or their representative
reserve the right of access to the holiday accommodation at any reasonable time during their stay.
